How do I calculate days between two dates manually?
Count each day from the start date (exclusive) to the end date (inclusive). For example, from January 1 to January 10 is 9 days. Our calculator does this instantly for any date range.
Does the calculator include both the start and end date?
The calculator counts the days between the two dates (exclusive of start date, inclusive of end date). This is the standard method used in most legal and business contexts.
How are business days calculated?
Business days exclude weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and optionally Zambian public holidays. For example, a 2-week period typically has 10 business days (Monday–Friday each week).
How accurate is the age calculator?
The age calculator gives your exact age in years, months, and days, accounting for leap years and varying month lengths. It’s accurate to the day.
How many days are in a year?
A standard year has 365 days. A leap year (like 2024, 2028) has 366 days. Leap years occur every 4 years, except for years divisible by 100 but not by 400.
How do I calculate my age in days?
Multiply your age in years by 365, then add the extra days from leap years. For a 25-year-old born in 2000 (6 leap years: 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020): 25 × 365 + 6 = 9,131 days. Our calculator does this automatically.
What is the longest public holiday period in Zambia?
Easter is the longest consecutive holiday period, with 3 days off (Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Monday). Heroes/Unity Day gives 2 consecutive days (Monday and Tuesday).
How do I calculate days for pregnancy?
A typical pregnancy is 280 days (40 weeks) from the first day of the last menstrual period. Use the “Pregnancy (280 days)” preset in the Date Difference tab to calculate your due date.
Can I use this for project planning?
Absolutely! The Business Days calculator is perfect for project timelines. Enter your project start and end dates, exclude weekends and holidays, and you’ll know exactly how many working days you have.
